Day 11

Thursday, June 13th

On Thursday, Janine came to visit from Dresden! Clint picked her up at the train station early in the morning and we had a large part of the day to spend with her! She is studying at the University there so she lives there full time. It was nice to have more time to spend with her. While she was here she also took some videos of Heidi and the other kids interacting because her studies have to do with language and she is doing a paper over children growing up in bilingual situations. Even though, Heidi is mostly raised using English, she has had a lot of influence from German so she thought it would be interesting to see how she interacts with them. Hopefully it will help her in her paper.

 For dinner, we were invited to Steffen, Doreen and Velony's house. It was such a beautiful day that we enjoyed spending time together and eating in their garden.
