Tuesday morning we went to Karen Neel's school in a nearby village. Honestly, getting our group to the train station on time in the morning was kind of a miracle. Ha ha.. But we made it! We talked with the 5th grade and 8th grade. We answered some questions they had for us and kind of just told them a little about ourselves. Also, Heidi volunteered to sing a "Frozen" song to both classes so that was pretty great. :)
They also played a game called Take a Hike where you sit in a circle and someone stands in the middle and says, "take a hike if you're wearing red" or any other example. All the people wearing red would get up and try to find a different seat. The last person standing has to come up with something different. (For example, if you're wearing glasses). They had a lot of fun and the students got to practice their English.
A lot of people thought Heidi was so cute. This group of girls wanted a picture with her.
After the classes Jevon was playing the music teacher's (Andre) guitar and Heidi and Andre were playing some drums.
While we were at he school we were able to pass out invitations to the activities we had going on during the week.
For a little treat we got some ice cream after a long morning at the school.
