This morning at breakfast there was a minute of silence and then Heidi looked at me and said, "Awkward!" with a big smile on her face. Of course I laughed and asked her why she said that and she said it was her favorite word. Ha ha!
Tonight at bedtime we asked her what she was thankful and she said she was thankful for the love in little brother's heart. She is so sweet! I'm not sure where these things come from, but I love hearing them.

i love the awkward quote! My niece would call everything "awkward" for awhile - she didn't know how to use it properly, but it was her fave word too!
