Happy Corbin

Upset Corbin

Friday was another school in the morning. We went to this school last year too. We had a concert and then we split into small groups. This school is a vocational school for medicine. Some of them are studying to be doctor assistants, veterinarians, dental assistants and so on. Some groups were more talkative than others but I think we had some good conversations and invited everyone to our activities.

The conversations wore some people out. :)

And some people just have issues... Ha ha!

Logan is not sure about Mark.

In the afternoon I met with Pam, Aniko and her daughter Carolina. We had a lot of fun together and the kids loved the sweet baby.

The rest of the group went to see the Battle of Nations Monument. This is where Napoleon got turned back. It is huge and is very interesting to see. Going to the top is quite a trek but there's a great view.

I love that monument! Ben & I visited it when we spent time in Dresden while the Carrolls were on furlough. It is such an interesting & unique monument and so unlike what you expect to see (at least it was for me).

Thanks for the updates on how things are going for you guys! I enjoy following along.

Yes, it is very unique! We also started calling it the Lord of The Rings Monument because it looks like it could be in that movie. :)

Thanks for following our updates! :)
