July 2011, a set on Flickr.

Here are some highlights from July.

Of course Independence Day was a fun day. We enjoyed a parade in the morning and in the evening enjoyed swimming, a grill and fireworks with friends.

I got to visit with my friends and former roommates April and Sarah and Sarah's kids. April got to stay with us for a little bit while she was in transition to moving to Kentucky.

We had lots of fun swimming in our neighborhood pool and enjoyed having friends come swim with us from time to time.

We found a great desk on Craigslist and started the process of getting it cleaned out and organized.

We got to go to the spray ground a lot in the summer and once got to visit with friends who were visiting from Kansas.

April, Heidi and I enjoyed visiting with the Antwines.

While April was still in town visiting we made sure to have a girls night out! It was so fun. We went to the Cheesecake Factory. Yum!

Camp Westwood was also in July. It is our church's form of VBS. It is on a Saturday and in the form of a short day camp of sorts. There are many different areas that the kids get to participate in just like other VBS tend to be organized. We had a lot of fun and led a group of Kindergarteners. It was definitely challenging, but fun!

Enjoy the pictures!
